I took the 500dy finally for a flight around my old playground. After flying in the AS350 I'm just getting the feel for it so the flying is not very well organized but it's a ton of fun. The Squirrel is like on a rails as opposed to the 500 which is lot more lively. After standard departure I headed off up the hill to check the old training spots and skid sites. There is a LOT of places where you can land and it's great for practicing all the essential skills. For the first landing I did high recce and took it little bit slower for the pinnacle landing. With the skid sites I should have done recce as well so don't take that as an example of what to do.
