Some are surprised to see their mattress show up in a box, and a fairly small box at that! The Helix mattress comes in a nice small box but expands very quickly.
Honestly it's not a difficult process, and pretty hard to mess up. Really just remove the plastic and the mattress will expand. Just make sure not to puncture the mattress when removing the plastic. It's also much easier if you remove the plastic with the mattress already on the bed frame. It expands quickly, and is more difficult to move around once it has decompressed.
The Helix mattress is actually a little lighter than others I've reviewed, but it can still be difficult to move around. You may want to have a friend come help you with the unboxing process.
