Been taking the Recoilless on a few bot missions and it's pretty amazing now - now able to one-shot Fabricators and Cannon Turrets as easily as the Spear, and the Hulk kill being a much easier shot without any need to aim for the head. Better than the Spear though, it can easily two-shot Factory Striders to the head, or even one-shot to the eye or underside, each of which is trickier with the Spear's auto-lock.

With Dropships only requiring one shot anywhere, it's never been easier to take out Bot Drops before they can even land. Nowhere is that better shown off in the High Value Asset missions, though the revamped Flag missions come close too. With no more cheeky bot drops on the landing pad, these missions are much fairer now while being just as busy as before.

Build:

Recoilless takes care of anything remotely heavy - even at the rate enemies spawn in this mission type, ammo was rarely an issue. Your biggest issue is actually the Armoured Striders - with the Diligence CS you can shoot off the rockets to kill them though this can be a little iffy sometimes, so I bring Impact nades as backup, and if worse comes to worse, a rocket will do the trick.

For defence missions and even missions with a lot of defence objectives like Geological Surveys and Flag ops, Mortar and EMS Sentries do very well for taking care of smaller enemies. HMG Emplacement means I have more direct firepower on hand for any Berserker or Devastator rushes too.

Being able to take care of all those heavy targets without a single Red Stratagem does show how the balance has swung from Strikes to Support Weapons, when it comes to AT. While this does make sense, it has made the formerly feared Factory Striders and BTs more of a pushover these days - taking out the Cannon Turret, disabling the Gatlings, and then rushing them for the underside kill felt like a mini-boss fight, and was a lot more common given you wouldn't always have a double 500kg off cooldown for the easy kill. That kind of kill seems much rarer these days, though maybe AH have some another level of threat waiting for us...
