And to complete the switcheroo, here's a run with the Punisher vs the Automatons. While the Slugger has been the traditional choice vs the Bot menace, I feel that the medium pen isn't actually all that relevant against the targets you'd be using your primary against. Troopers, Devastator heads, Berserker weakpoints and the side-mounted rockets on the new Striders are all low enough AV for light AP weapons to flourish, and the medium pen on the Slugger is too weak to punch through Strider or Heavy Devastator shields. Meanwhile, the Punisher has just the right amount of spread to make those shots easier while being useable at medium range and keeping all of that all-important stagger.

The swamp biome is a good fit for both this and the Autocannon, with fewer long-range engagements and plenty of cover to lose enemies behind.

Build:

Autocannon does it all on the Bot front, 2-shotting Hulks and Gunships, destroying Mortar and AA Emplacements, and wrecking Devastators - the undocumented rework to explosion damage mitigation through armour/cover does make it a little weaker against Devastator shields and the new all-armoured Striders though.

We'll mainly be using the Punisher for taking out Troopers, Devastators and Berserkers in close quarters where the AC AOE makes friendly fire an issue, and its one-shot damage and pushback is amazing in this role.

The Autocannon Sentry is one of the most useful strats you could take, being unbothered by the tree cover on these swamp biomes, and offering massive AT firepower and aggro pull that can solo Devastator squads and even take down a Factory Strider if you give it a little time.

OPS and 500kg is my classic AT strike combo - 500kg is a little less reliable with the tree cover though, and a Walking Barrage may have been more useful especially for the Fortress.

Either Peak Physique, Engineering Kit or Fortified armour passives are ideal for the Autocannon - I went with Engineering Kit for those plentiful Stun nades and recoil.
