No one expected Helldivers 2 to be this big. From weak marketing to launching the game next to another live service game alongside a busy month for PlayStation-exclusive games, it's clear that Sony was either unaware of what it had or wasn't confident in what Arrowhead Game Studios developed. But against all odds, the game is an incredible success for PlayStation 5, PC, PlayStation, Arrowhead Game Studios, and most importantly my fellow Helldivers fighting the good fight and spreading managed democracy across the galaxy. In this video, I wanted to breakdown what Helldivers 2 is, what I like about it, what I dislike about it, and most importantly the one multiplayer element that this game has that PlayStation should take note of and implement into their future multiplayer-exclusive experiences to come.
