Hello Neighbor: Alpha 3 Revealed? Debug Menu Cheats + Commands/Full Basement and Character Model
I use the debug menu in Hello Neighbor to uncover the complete basement. I also show you some cheats and commands you can use to do this yourself. I show you what our character looks like and show some footage of (perhaps) the Alpha 3 build. In this Hello Neighbour gameplay walkthrough series I plan to cover pre alpha 2, pre alpha 3 and the completed game. In future videos I plan to cover all basement and ending easter eggs, glitches, secret areas, Debug menu cheats, exploits and any game theories along the way such as the haunted house/mannequin theories. Hello Neighbour Story:
You move into a brand new suburb and notice your neighbor is hiding something in his basement. The only logical thing to do is to break into his house and figure out what he's hiding. This is a game that takes some inspiration from home invasion movies such as 'Disturbia', 'Rear Window' and 'Don't Breathe'. If you like those movies - You'll definitely love playing this stealth horror game where you take on the role of a home invader by Indie studio Dynamic Pixels! The Pixar-style visuals are very unique and the procedural AI makes gameplay tense and challenging. The full game is being developed in Unreal Engine 4 and is coming to PC Summer 2017.
Hello Neighbor Items and gameplay mechanics:
Tool Items are Items that serve a purpose to the player. For example, the Flashlight helps the player see in certain areas, or the Binoculars which help you see a long distance away from you (allowing you to spy on the Neighbor through his windows.) These items don't necessarily progress the game forwards, but will help the player at certain points. Tool Items include the Flashlight, Binoculars, Telephone, Magnet Gun, and the Jack Hammer.
Hello Neighbor Weapons:
The Weapons in Hello Neighbor don't actually damage the Neighbor, but stun him so that you can make a quick escape. Things like the Fireworks will blind the Neighbor, but things like the Rifle don't affect the Neighbor at all. The Bear Trap is another good example. Though it is usually used against you, you can actually use it against the Neighbor so that he gets trapped for a couple seconds. List of weapons include the Bear Trap, Fireworks and Telephone.
Key Items in Hello Neighbour:
Key Items are Items that allow you to progress the game forwards, but serve no other purpose other than that. For example, the Shovel allows you to progress the game by obtaining the Teacher Mannequin, but does nothing else. Another one would be the Hammer (or Crowbar) which allows you to remove the boards on the Basement Door, but does nothing else. Key Items include the Hammer, Key, Crowbar, Bell, Shovel, Magnet Gun, Keycard, Rifle, Wrench and Blacklight.
