Castle Of Alchemists is a mix between hack 'n' slash and tower defense, you play Bellator, a mutated warrior, one of the Alchemists test subjects, although his mutation is not complete, his services will be crucial in preventing the invaders from taking over the castle.

The gameplay is an alteration between 2 phases, first you place defenses and traps that either slow down or kill the enemies, but that won't be enough, this is why in the second phase you have to jump into action and help kill those monsters.

The gameplay mechanics are interesting, like electrical conduction through connected traps and creating a longer path for enemies using the barricades. In addition, Bellator has a large set of equipment in his disposal which he can upgrade or create new along to the defenses to maximize the effectiveness.
