Free the Agency of Anomalies in this Bullet Hell Voxel Roguelike | 2 of Me
52 of Me is a hell die and retry bullet action game with voxel style graphics, the physics look realistic but there is little to no interaction with the surroundings as most objects are useless props.
The main task is to defeat the anomalies that have invaded the agency, some of them can only be materialized by switching to the corresponding color (orange or blue).
The current state of the game, at least from what I noticed in the demo, is what you might call a "bug-fest", here are some issues that I can recall:
- YOU CAN'T SWITCH COLOR if you die or go the the next level, soft-blocking you so a game restart is required.
- You also lose the HUD if you try to check the inventory after the first run.
- All items in the shop are overpriced, including weapons which are crucial for progressing through new floors, not to mention that money dropped by enemies is scarce.
- You lose the shotgun if you start the game without the tutorial, so you need to disable the cloud saving feature from Steam to do it again.
- A lot of graphical glitches, misplaced lightings, and sometimes bad camera angle during fights.
Despite this, the gameplay is interesting and exacting, the demo just needed a bit more baking before releasing it.
