5You play detective Zeke Reynold, who was asked to investigate the case of an old woman, whose family stopped hearing from her. For him, it is just one more day in the work, but what he will discover exceeds his expectations, or was it bare thoughts of his imagination?
Lake Haven is truly spooky, the ambiance is dark and horrifying, making you wonder who would accept to live in such place, the house itself is chilling, add to that the PS1 style graphics, which I find perfectly suited for the game. The gameplay is also from the oldschool era, such as the tank controls, double confirmation when picking any item and the locked camera. Not to mention the silliness of solving 7 puzzles to retrieve a doorknob...
A lot of clues can be discovered through the diaries and letters scattered everywhere, so take your time to read them, also some items need to be combined to become effective, others simply tested.
The game contains an Easter egg related to Silent Hill 1, to access it you need to find a pin hidden in the barn and use it on the last door inside the basement.
