Foetid Manse - the penultimate level was pretty solid one. Starting outside fortified castle, trying to breach its defenses (which consist of Sabreclaws and dreaded Ophidians), entering building to look for important items (and killing Disciples btw).
Fields of Judgement - for a final level, it was a disappointing one in my opinion. I used method someone posted in Heretic (or Doom) Wiki. Sounds like that: Ring of Invisibility +Tome of Power, and use a Phoenix Rod that way. After that Hellstaff all the way, and bam, all 6 Maulotaurs were dead.
And Heretic is finished, time for Hexen 2 to conclude Serpent Rider Trilogy.
My most dangerous enemy in Heretic?
I have two of them. One, Disciples of D'Sparil- can fly, can turn "ghost" mode and his three-projectile attack, which hurts a lot. Two, were Ophidians, because they were simply too hard to kill.
Most useful/useless weapons?
Almost all of them, even humble Staff have its uses (looking at you, Catafalque level), got sorely disappointed by Firemace.
About items:i think i hadn't used those Hourglass Bomb even once, same with Morph Ovum. I found use for all other items.
