Ron Nessman, a former truck driver recently moved back to Hesperia, California to reconnect with his family, and was sitting outside a car wash after a job interview with Applebees. That’s when he sees this: a powerful gust of wind blowing a baby stroller directly into high-speed traffic. With the baby’s great aunt, who’s in her sixties, collapsing to the ground twice trying to scramble after it. So with no time to dawn his cape or even think, Ron leaps into action, dashing for the baby just moments before it would’ve greeted the two-ton hunks of steel on the road. Then another bystander runs over to help the fallen woman, and Ron escorts the child back to safety. The package is secure. Now he’s being hailed as a hero by thousands of people online, but he says he doesn't need the fame. Right, all he really wants is to turn his life back around, and hopefully this moment is a pivotal one.
