The successor to unappreciated gem King's Bounty, Heroes of Might and Magic is more of a sequel/remake to that game, having little to do with the classic Might and Magic franchise. Offering a name change and turn based strategy in an era where it had all but disappeared, Heroes was a smash hit that spawned multiple direct sequels in the 1990's, and it's still being made in one form or another to this day. I'll be reading from the manual, glancing at numerous magazine reviews including a game of the year award from Computer Gaming World, and lots more. We're covering the original DOS release, showing it from actual hardware on a real CRT screen, in its designed 4:3 aspect ratio.
