Famous for their adventures, Sierra attempts to integrate role playing into the adventure genre with Hero's Quest, later renamed Quest for Glory. While the RPG aspect doesn't quite hold up on its own, the aspects which translated well truly set this game apart as an adventure. Tackling the Amiga conversion here, we shall discuss the complicated relationship Amiga users had with Sierra, but hold firmly that a good game is a good game, and this one is good, even if it could have been better on this machine. We'll read from the manual, cover a number of magazines thoughts from back in the day, and show off some awards like adventure of the year 1989, and 15th most innovative game of all time. Presented here on original Amiga hardware, in its designed NTSC mode with a 4:3 aspect ratio.

My written review for Hero's Quest: https://shot97retro.blogspot.com/2021/02/heros-quest-quest-for-glory-in-depth.html

This review in dedication to friends Stygian Phoenix and Brian Davis, true lovers of Sierra and the Amiga. Check out Stygian's playthrough of the VGA remake here: https://youtu.be/miLtSXv39_0

*Correction; at one point in the video I made reference to Brian Davis' love for Sierra starting with the Amiga version of Space Quest, it was actually the Amiga version of King's Quest.
