Heroes of the Storm: Chromie Overview!
267Chromie is one of the upcoming Heroes in Heroes of the Storm. She is a Gnome who specializes in long-ranged combat, and who deals a lot of damage from a distance. She has a lot of damage potential, but is also very squishy.
Chromie is a Timewalker, as well as a Bronze Dragon. Meaning that she can alter time. In Heroes of the Storm this is done by gaining all of her talents a level early. For example, she gets her Ultimate at level 9 where as all of the other Heroes have to wait another level.
Chromie's abilities:
- Sand Blast (Q) - Long-ranged skill shot that goes through minions and only damages the first Hero hit.
- Dragon's Breath (W) - Area of effect damage dealing spell that does not show the reticle for the opposing Heroes.
- Time Trap (E) - Arms a trap that when triggered puts enemy Heroes into stasis for a few seconds.
- Slow Sands (R1) - Places a Sand Vortex that grants vision, drains mana and slows enemies that walk into it.
- Temporal Loop (R2) - Recalls enemy Heroes that are affected by it to their position a few seconds prior.
All in all Chromie is a powerful ranged assassin, who will often times be at the top of the Hero damage. However, she is also a squishy Hero. Since she doesn't have much survivability or mobility, good positioning and map awareness will be extremely important.
