Heroes of the Storm: Medivh Overview & Gameplay!
611Medivh is a specialist Hero in Heroes of the Storm. While he was regarded a support for a long time, he is now considered a specialist as he does not directly heal anyone.
He is not a dedicated support however and not a damage dealer, but a mix of both. The real strength of Medivh lies in his level 16 talents, and his "Force of Will" ability.
Medivh's abilities:
- Arcane Rift (Q) - Skillshot in a line, deals damage and if it hits a Hero returns mana and cooldown.
- Force of Will (W) - Counters all incoming damage to a target for 1,5 seconds on a 5 second cooldown.
- Portal (E) - Creates a Portal that can be used to teleport the team around.
- Poly Bomb (R1) - Polymorphs a target and bounces to another after several seconds.
- Ley Line Seal (R2) - Skillshot with very long range that puts affected enemies into statis.
Medivh get's incredible vision from his Raven Form. Instead of a mount he flies around and using the Raven in combination with his Portal skill he can set up devastating engagements.
However, in order to use Medivh properly you will need great communication. Otherwise he won't be able to get very much done at all. On top of that, the skill required to play this Hero is high.
