Hideous Destructor | Elderjam | No Failure Run
And for today, a short visit into this Quake-esque world of dark maps coupled with shotgun wielding cultists and zombies. A fairly short one, but I suppose one can't say too much about a mod made in 10 days.
Hit a few hitches on the road while wiretearing this one. You'll note halfway that for some reason some of the elevators don't trigger automatically, and I had to use the DERP to trigger the linedefs remotely. Also typoed Doom's medikit actor name, whoops. Still though, I'm glad the run for the most part is finishable from point A to B.
Was a bit worried I might be stuck retrying the long jump in map02 a fair amount of times (it's possible with HDest, but requires some finesse), but RNG decides map01's secret to be in my favor for map02. I did use CF's HMP to once again boost up the custom enemies' chances at killing me, but alas, I'm just too good apparently.
