19I haven't had much luck getting into HDest coop runs these days, so imagine my surprise when I finally got in one and it's a 7 man squad. For reference, you can only have 8 players in GZD because of how rocky P2P connections are. The fact that there's this many players in the run and the gameplay is still mostly playable is both shock and wonder to me. Star eyed, even.
Okay, maybe I've been playing with the Omori setup too much for coop runs. I can't deny that it feels whimsy to run around in a colorful skybox fighting demons. There's even a full blown Power of Friendship mechanic, though it isn't used for this particular run. The run goes down to a 6 marine squad later, but everyone still had a good time up until the game desynced and ruined everything.
