Hideous Destructor | Apollo Hotel | No Failure Run
From the same mind behind Xeno Effect comes another reason for me to use the TR reskin pack for HDest. I might've forgotten to load Ugly as Sin for this run, so no flares loaded. Atleast it's there in spirit with how I replaced the second blood pickup sprites. No dark areas that requires me to use a lighting instrument, atleast. Wiretearing this one took no time, and I'm glad to see the mapping having somewhat improved.
That said, there was one bit that I just had to edit out. A part of the wall in the bar that you have to use in order to progress, with only a minuscule strip along the edges to tell you that it's usable. That's right. A clear cut case of a mandatory secret. This is usually the kind of thing I bin a mapset for, but I liked the map enough that I didn't want to. Figured editing the part out to be more obvious would alleviate my pet peeve and allow me to continue.
