It has been two winters since Hjalmer had proven himself on the battlefield of Ashfeld that day. That day he became more than his title as all those on the battlefield that day had seen, the knights in the days, weeks and even months after that day had named him "The Thunder of the North". His claymore hung on the wall of the dwelling which overlooked the small fishers village of Rokfelheim, a place he was meant to protect, his cape and cloak acting as his flag to let all those below know he was watching on the small balcony like structure, his beard thicker, his body as strong as ever but more defined, since Hjalmers first battles he learned he could not be crude or imprecise, that with his strength it needed to be applied properly, he could still see the Warden that had opened his back, leaving a deep wound, he returned the favor to her with a slice across her shoulder. They both survived one another, his mortal enemy, the only warrior to have hurt him as near mortally as that and she was likely thinking of him now. Two warriors, the fates had obviously recognized they were meant for each other, to kill one another. Hjalmer still craved blood even now, but it was a more refined taste now, he was in turn more refined in his skills and techniques, his claymore calling to him.

The dwelling shook as the door flung open and a small girl pale as snow in the day was struggling to breathe but she said rapidly "The samurai, THEY'RE ON THE BEACH"
she was panicked, her eyes darting across the room but Hjalmer stood and laid one massive hand as big as her chest in her shoulder as he said darkly but somehow....compassionately
"Go to the village below and gather the man, I shall meet them there, then lock whatever doors you can and hide"
He snatched the Claymore from the wall, the weight of the blade smacking the back of Hjalmers arm as he strapped it to him, the girl asked while halfway through the door "where are you going"
Hjalmer rushed through the door saying half concentrating on her "battle"

The samurai were unloading their equipment, among birds of the beach surrounding them, when Hjalmer stepped from the Forest he was unnoticed, his eyes shifted to a predatory position, his Claymore Pulsating, begging to spill blood.
He roared and so the batle had begun
