If you get the Robotics Expert perk, activate the Sentrybot while attacking the Institute, the Sentrybot can teleport to stop from falling behind. This was problematic as I met with poor Shaun in his medi-bed. The Sentrybot detected him as part of an enemy faction and said hello in the way Sentrybots do. It's not really a bug or glitch, it's the game functioning normally, but it's clear they never intended you to have a robot following you during that scene.
