Today, I present a timelapse of my old trademark buildings, the Hiiragi Towers. These are newly redesigned and improved versions of my original build from two years ago.

The idea came when I saw an apartment building next to a dojo on the Minecraft Workbench server in beta 1.7 days. I drew up a design in paint and built it shortly after. Now over 2 years later, I refined the design and increased the height of the towers. I am very pleased with the result.

The name Hiiragi was suggested by a friend, Creammin, who played on the same server as me, coming from the surnames of characters from the anime Lucky star. (Coincidentally, they were also twins, hence these being twin towers) The original name for the buildings were the Takasaki Towers, after randomly spotting a city on the map of Japan.

The music for this video was a piece I did about three years ago for my music GCSE composition. It's called War Bound and is based upon the Imperial March by John Williams and Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence by Ryuichi Sakamoto. It would not have been possible without the help of my tutor, Jonathan Wadsworth who I thank very much.

Minecraft is developed by Mojang and can be bought here: http://minecraft.net/
