Hobi and IU shocked the K-pop world when the latter's official YouTube channel uploaded a video of both of them. IU's YT show called Palette started back in 2020. It's a fun and chill talk show where IU interviews various celebrities in a relaxed atmosphere.
And on July 28, 2022, IU's special guest for the episode was none other than Hobi. Nobody saw it coming as Hobi is not actively promoting his album outside Big Hit Music.
The interview was also the first time that Hobi and IU talked, which they both were adorably shy about. But Hobi explained why he chose IU's Palette as the platform he wanted to promote his album on. As the interview progressed, Hobi and IU became comfortable with each other.
IU wondered who makes Hobi shy, and his reply makes a lot of sense . Hobi's interaction with IU is different from his interaction with female artists during the Jack In The Box listening party. In fact, Hobi admitted that his eyes were shaking every time he looked at IU.
But that wasn't the first time I saw Hobi getting shy doing eye contact with a female.
