On stage, it's easy to assume that all of the BTS members are extroverts. They appear to be very comfortable in front of a massive crowd, and it's easy for them to engage with fans. Off stage, however, is a whole different story.
BTS's 2022 MBTI result revealed that five of the members are actually introverts. If someone is new to the fandom and sees Jin aggressively telling the whole world how handsome he is, one might think he's an extrovert.
Normally, introverts don't want the attention on them, but Jin seemed to like the spotlight on him when he talks about his face. But that could be Jin's defense mechanism to battle his shyness. The truth is that Jin is one of the most introverted members of BTS. He prefers to be alone or spend time with people that he knows.
Jin is someone who would avoid going to parties and meeting new people as much as possible. But on July 14, 2022, Jin was left with no choice but to leave the comfort of his room and attend an event. It wasn't just any regular event that he could sneakily avoid, but it was Hobi's "Jack In The Box" listening party.
Jin shared on Weverse that he went to Hobi's event but only stayed in a corner reading webtoons. Even though Jin said he didn't take any single photo during the event, snaps and clips from the party proved that he did take some pictures. However, he only took photos with his members.
And while there were no pics or videos of Jin reading webtoons in the corner, there are clips of him drinking alone.
Meanwhile, Jin was already worried in the makeup/dressing room and asked Hobi if he had to meet his guests. Of course, Hobi wanted him to be there, but he also understood how uncomfortable Jin was and tried to make him feel at ease. After showing his support to Hobi, Jin decided to leave early.
For those who don't know yet, Hobi is also an introvert. The type of introvert who enjoys social events, but also needs alone time to recharge his energy. Jin, on the other hand, gets drained after being in a crowd.
Despite that, Jin proved how much he loves Hobi by putting his discomfort aside to support him.
