Hollow Knight Hell Mod Practice (Part 2)
303A bonus stream to continue (and hopefully conclude) Hell Mod practice as I want to ensure A Hat in Time continues Saturday. As I have the shade cloak I should be able to go back and take care of the dreamers along with get the Void Heart. But we'll see what goofs await here.
On the plus side, I'm seeing where my mistakes are and with some more practice and a better route doing this in Steel Soul looks viable (even if a two damage nail is truly hell).
Hell Mod cuts nail damage in half and disables nail upgrades (meaning a 2 damage nail for the entire run), doubles damage taken, cuts soul generation in half (so six hits for a heal/spell normally instead of three), gives you a permanent soul binding (only can hold enough soul for one heal/spell), and slightly nerfs spell damage.
Deaths in this run were Crystal Guardian - 1, Crystalized Mound - 1, Lost Kin - 3, Nightmare King Grimm - 2, The Radiance - 2 (curiously, NKG and The Radiance had an eight damage glitch, though only for the first fight with the Radiance). Needless to say, more practice will be needed if I hope to do this in steel soul!
