2General game tips:
Keep an eye on the your ships and squadrons health.
If it drops to half or lower, consider docking your squadrons to repair en replenish them.
If only one fighter survived and docks, it'll be restored to a full squadron for free.
Pull larger ships back and repair them with collectors.
You can dock your squadrons with Battle Cruisers for frontline repairs.
You can dock your squadrons with allied vessels like the Shipyard Nabaal.
After level 3 or 4 you don't need to harvest resources anymore. It's done for you.
Destroying capital ships grants you lots of resources. They're not always part of your objectives.
Don't bother capturing enemy ships.
Equally balancing your ship types is a good idea. 50/50% fighters and bombers.
33/33/33% flak, torp, ion frigates.
Pulsar gunships are better than normal gunships. So 100% pulsars
While the free cam is possibly the best upgrade from Homeworld 1, try and use the focus/follow camera functions. They're very usefull.
You can snap the camera to a group by pressing the groups' button twice to quickly move around.
Keep your fleet together, move your mothership along with them.
Replace lost ships as quickly as possible. Having four carriers by the end of level 3 is advised.
