Honeycomb: Storage and Restaining Dining Table
In this video we are building a wood storage shelve with four tiers out of 2x4s and plywood. Rough dimensions are 8'x8'x2'. We used soft pine for the majority of the wood and wood screws to hold everything together.
We really needed some vertical storage that would support quite a bit of weight but we didn't like the prices we were seeing for them at our local Home Depot and Lowes. So we decided we could get something better with just a few hours and build our own. Turned out nice and we filled the entire thing up the same day, but now we can park a car in the garage!
We had to restrain our dining table because mist outside got on it and damaged the polyurethane we had coated it with and it formed a weird gel form. Had to strip it and sand it all down again and repeat the process to make it look good!
This time we have it perfected and have really enjoyed having it in our home!
