Hopeless 2: Cave Escape is an action packed shooting game where you need to control the cute blobs and this time, you need to help them escape the dark caves of limbo using a mine cart, the game has twice the action and twice the firepower, so get ready for an action packed adventure across the caves of limbo, it won't be a walk in the park though as the adventure is twice as dangerous than before, but no worries, cute as they may seem, the blobs are actually skilled combatants with a plethora of weapons in your arsenal, like pistols, machine guns, shotguns, even flame throwers and many more, use your powerful weapons to shoot the enemies, eliminate them for good and save your fellow blobs along the way, it's not going to be easy but it sure is going to be fun as the game features a fast paced gameplay with a lot of levels for you to complete spread out in different locations across limbo, so are you up to the challenge, do you have the skills to slug it out with the enemies, and save your friends in the process and then eventually escape the caves of limbo?, play the game and find out for yourself here in Hopeless 2: Cave Escape.

Graphics and Sound

Hopeless 2: Cave Escape just like the first one has simple but pretty graphics, as can be seen by the character designs, the blobs look really simple, but you also have to admit, they look rather pretty in spite of their simple designs, environments are quite dark, you really won't see much here as the setting is in a dark cave but somehow it still managed to look really pretty although there's not much detail in the levels, colors are limited too, mostly black except for the character and weapon fire, and the enemies of course, animations are smooth and soundtrack and sound effects are cool, special effects are great although simple, I think it is because of the dark environments, it made the special effects flashy and pretty, overall, the game looks quite great although it is rather dark as the game is designed that way.

Gameplay

Hopeless 2: Cave Escape is a side scrolling shooter, gameplay is quite fast here as you will be riding a minecart across the caves, you will be shooting a lot of enemies here, they tend too appear suddenly as you traverse the levels, there are also a lot of weapons that you can use here and all of them are quite effective against the enemies, besides the weapon that you can use, there are also some cool powerups available for you to use against your enemies, like the time freeze that slows down time which will make it easier for you to kill the baddies, especially when there are too many of them, you also need to save your buddies here, make sure to save them all as you become more powerful as more blobs are added to the carts.

Hopeless 2: Cave Escape features simple but beautiful graphics, the character designs are really cute, there are a lot of weapons to use here and also some cool powerups to help you in your escape, and it also has very simple and easy to learn controls to make the game more fun to play.

Conclusion

Hopeless 2: Cave Escape is really fun and quite exciting as gameplay is quite fast, you'll fast reflexes to play the game as there are really a lot of enemies to shoot, I think this is more fun when it comes to gameplay when you compare it to the first release, check it out.
