Horizon: Zero Dawn - incidental glitches
10Okay, I think I'm done with Horizon: Zero Dawn for now. To finish things off with this game, here are the very first random bugs I stumbled upon on my first playthroughs some months back.
Warning: later half of the video contains end game spoilers.
0:00 - these two NPCs are very close.
0:18 - a random untextured wall in Meridian.
0:33 - there's a bug where NPC eyes speed up and become all flickery. I noticed it happening twice during all the time I spent with this game, so I guess it's not particularly common.
0:59 - a fox got stuck in scenery.
1:17 - what would an incidental glitches package be without weird ragdoll oddities? Here's one with a human enemy.
1:28 - I also got that crazy enemy machine ragdoll bug where they start "breakdancing". I still hope to one day see this one happen while Aloy is sitting on top of the ragdolling machine.
2:00 - Erend's weapon was floating. Looks like the weapon animation and Erend's animation were out of sync for some reason.
2:32 - a small zip I got while riding down this hill.
2:41 - note: this is the point in the video where spoilers begin.
After finishing the Eclipse camp, there's a long cutscene where Aloy finally meets one of the villains. For some reason this cutscene played twice in a row for me. Wrong music was also playing during the 2nd run of the cutscene, but that's the extent of odd side effects I noticed. Wonder what caused it to happen? I can't remember doing anything TOO strange at the time...
5:31 - a random soldier bumbled into the view during the dramatic final meeting between Aloy and Helis. Look, guy, you had ONE job...
