Something weird happened during a speedrun attempt. I was in Episode 8 dealing with the fights using my usual tactics. After accidentally blowing up Gretchen into a bottomless pit - or that's what it seemed like - our heroes respawned out of bounds at an earlier location in the level instead of where they should have.

Don't know why it happened. Maybe getting a game over and retrying too soon after a new checkpoint is created can mess up the data?
