Rather than innovate, the Legion 5i retains most of the Legion’s Y540 strong points, while resolving all of its faults. Armed with an i7-10750H CPU and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti, this notebook proves more than capable of tackling modern game titles, while also offering a stylish, minimalistic design as an alternative to flashier brands. Indeed, this machine will be attractive to both gaming and business users!

While the base version of the Legion 5 already comes with capable hardware, there are some configurations equipped with the latest Intel i7 processors or AMD’s newest Ryzen 4. The same goes for its graphics card. One might find some faults in this laptop when it comes to its plastic chassis and the narrow heat exhausts, but that’s just neat-picking. However, the premium-feel and the outstanding keyboard more than made up for any build quality shortcomings.
