About Hove Beach:
Hove Beach is a neighborhood located in south Broker, Liberty City.
It has a very large population of Eastern European immigrants consisting of Russians, Poles, and Ukrainians, as well as a Balkan population consisting of Serbs and Albanians. The neighborhood, for the most part, is a combination of working-class and middle-class people. The area is primarily made up of various low-rise apartments, brownstones, regular terraced houses, factories, bars, and shops
Hove Beach is based on Brooklyn's Brighton Beach neighborhood, known for its Eastern European population. The name is in reference to the English seaside town of Hove and its relationship with neighboring Brighton, the two towns have city status as one entity and is officially known as Brighton and Hove.
The area is also influenced by Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn, which too has a prominent migrant population.

About the game:
Grand Theft Auto IV (also known as GTA IV or GTA 4, released 2008) is the eleventh title in the Grand Theft Auto series. The game was developed by Rockstar North and was published and released by Rockstar Games for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions were released worldwide to widespread hype on April 29, 2008. The PC version was released on December 3, 2008.
GTA IV is heavily influenced by Russian gangster movies, and Niko Bellic's physical appereance is based on the character of Sasha, a Bulgarian sniper who works as a mercenary for the Bosnian-Serb Srpska paramilitary organization, from the movie Behind Enemy Lines.
Set within the fictional Liberty City, based on New York City, the single-player story follows Eastern European war veteran Niko Bellic and his attempts to escape his past while under pressure from loan sharks and mob bosses.
