In this let's play Starbound Glad Giraffe combat update video, we take a look at hoverbikes, the first of the new vehicles coming to Starbound. The hoverbike comes in several colours, each with a different cost. All versions are able to seat two, so you can have a driver and a passenger in multiplayer.

But hoverbikes have their own health - you can actively hurt them with a weapon, or just by driving badly into a wall or off a cliff. So there's a repair system that uses auto chips, which can fix up your bike, good as new.

In this Starbound Glad Giraffe video we test out two hoverbikes (khaki and green versions) and take them for a spin, finding out how to buy the controller, spawn the bikes, retrieve them, get in the wrong seat, damage them, then repair them.
