In this let's play Starbound Glad Giraffe combat update video, we discover that elevators have now been added to the game. Currently there are wooden, steel and mechanical elevators, each coming in two sizes. All work functionally the same.
Elevators go between the two floors constantly - that is until you start wiring them. In this video we see several simple ways to wire up your elevator, good and bad! Because of the way the logic is implemented, it isn't as straightforward as connecting two buttons directly to the elevator with your wiring tool - you'll need a little extra logic.
