In this let's play Starbound Glad Giraffe combat update video, we first visit a new Frozen planet type. It's a renamed Tundra biome planet but with lots of extra biome content added, plus new sub-biomes including Prism.

Then we visit a completely new Midnight planet type, a world of perpetual darkness and shadow NPCs. We look at the microdungeons and surface content, along with scary new enemies such as a killer knife-handed scarecrow that teleports! We also show you how to find a midnight planet location.

Finally in this Starbound Glad Giraffe video we visit a dead planet type to check out some of the new parallax background graphics, both on the surface and underground in caverns.
