Hoverboard Racing, Improved Bounties And 7 Best Features In Warframe Fortuna
1,230Warframe Fortuna - a huge open world update for the game - releases on PC in early November and we’ve taken a tour of Fortuna and Orb Vallis to see what features Digital Extremes are adding in their wildest expansion yet. With hoverboards, robot fishing and a new bounty system, this could be a great time to get involved.

In this video we introduce Warframe Fortuna open world, Warframe’s hoverboard and some of the other features that are explained more fully in this new video. If you’ve see the Warframe Fortuna trailer - and hummed to its amazing music - these two videos will take you into new Warframe Fortuna features and changes in more detail.
In this new Warframe Fortuna gameplay we look at new warframe Garuda as she slices her way across Venus. Try not to get too distracted by her bloody shields, her bloodier projectiles and her swirling blades of death - you don’t want the gore drawing the eyes from Fortuna’s huge open world. Whether you’re flying on hoverboard (the new K-Drive) or travelling with the Archwing, this is an incredible new world to explore. And it comes for free, of course. From the dark caves that hide rare animals to the towering peaks that look down on Orokin coolant towers, this is a visual feast. And everything you do is helping the oppressed people of Solaris United, so that's nice.
Of all the big Warframe Fortuna changes, one of the best is new bounty system, letting you take bounties out in the field. No more having to return to base, as in Plains of Eidolon, you just keep collecting those bounties and enjoying those missions. Of course, spend too much time murdering enemy forces and you’ll raise the alert level - another new Fortuna feature that is going to make life tricky. If it gets too much you can always escape to the wild, trying to capture endangered species with an echo lure - in order to conserve them, nothing more sinister - or go pulse fishing for robot fish in the various lakes. There’s plenty to keep you busy in this new Warframe Fortuna gameplay.
We also talk through the Warframe new Warframe, Garuda, the gory blade-expert who can hurt herself for a damage boost and then claim back the health by draining any enemy she can stick on a spike. She’s a walking advert for the importance of blood donors. We also take a look at the K-Drive and the ventkids, the gang of orphans who will be setting you challenges and rating your hoverboard tricks. This is the bit that’s like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater in space. Only Tony hawk didn’t also turn into a blender and chop up aliens.
