Obviously, The Sims 4 has so much DLC because you’re meant to tailor the game to your own personal tastes. Some want to Get Famous (and pretend to be virtual YouTubers) and others just want the simple life spent with Cats and Dogs or enjoying the passing Seasons. The Sims 4 offers this and more, but you do have to make sense of a great long list of Expansion, Game and Stuff packs.

Whether it’s adding washing machines (more exciting than it sounds) or Halloween decorations, the Sims 4 stuff packs cater to all.
Then you have the best Sims 4 Game Packs - these are DLCs that add new mechanics and change up the game world. You’re thinking of things like taking your Sims for dinner or going bowling. They’re not entirely new locations, but they offer substantial changes. Alice picks her favourite ones here.
Finally you have the best Sims 4 expansion packs - these are the larger add-ons that take you to new places or substantially change the way game works. Whether it’s adding pets in Cats and Dogs or introducing new seasonal changes in The Sims 4 Seasons, these will alter how the game works for you.
