How 'bout Those Blocks in the Back? - Papertris! (2023-03-27)
1Papertris is a block puzzler where you're tasked with matching sets of 3+ same-colored cubes in each of the pieces that drops - and in this case, it seems you can shift your current set of blocks into the background and build a new stack of cubes that can match.
It took me a moment to get familiar with the core mechanics (this game prooobably needs a manual or tutorial just so I can make sure I'm not missing any fundamentals), but it seems like there's a lot of potential with later challenges. I wonder what later levels look like (with played by a player who's much better at puzzle games than I am).
Alongside the power cubes, the combo system seems to offer some super elaborate setups akin to something you might see in Wario's Woods. I'd bet those can get really intense in VS mode.
