Train Sim World (abbreviated to TSW) is a train simulation game series developed by Dovetail Games. It was released on 24 July 2018.[2] For the first time, Train Sim World allows players to walk around the game world in a first-person mode. This mode is utilized in tutorials, scenarios and services where the first-person mode is required to complete tasks such as refueling, navigation a building or changing switches.

Train Sim World 3 is the third game of the Train Sim World series. It was released on September 6th, 2022, on Steam, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and Epic Games Store. An early access was available for all players that had preorder the game.

All version of the game come with the Training Center, a route meant for completing the fundamental and locomotive tutorials.

The standard edition of Train Sim World 3 comes with 3 more routes:

Cajon Pass - 85-mile route between Barstow and San Bernardino in California, featuring the BNSF ES44C4 and SD40-2.
