Yesterday I encountered an issue which resulted in screen glitch and lost menu when trying to open Nvidia X Server Settings. It only showing prime profiles with performance mode selected.
There should be more menus, including :
- X Server Information,
- X Server Display configuration
- OpenGL Settings
- Antialiasing
- VDPAU information
- Thermal settings
- PowerMizer
- Application profiles
- Etc
When I check the Ubuntu Settings, it shows that Intel UHD is being used for graphics instead of my GTX card. This issue also make the screen flickering when recording like crazy.
So I decided to make how to fix NVIDIA driver not loaded properly, in case you run into the same issue. If this doesn't work, please make sure the Secure Boot on BIOS / UEFI has been disabled.
