Outline
To Unlock the Glamour system you need to do a couple quests. First one up is the "If I had Glamour Quest". You can find it in Vesper Bay which is in Western Thanalan
The following quest is "Absolutely Glamourous" if quest unlocks the ability to craft Glamour Prisms. A requirement for that quest is a disciple of the hand class (crafting class) of level 15. I say do the quest but I have not crafted one Glamour prisms myself.
In the same area, you want to pick up the quest "Color Your World". This quest unlocks Dying in the game. *Note not all gear is dyeable*. Links are in the description for all of these quests.

Glamour Prisms
• Where to get them
○ Market board
○ Merchants
○ Crafting
○ Grand company
The best way to get them in my opinion is through your grand company. You can turn in equipment you pick up along your adventures for seals and then turn those seals into Glamour Prisms.
How to use:
There are two ways of using Glamour prisms. At item level or at slot level. At item level You can use a Glamour prisms to manually change the look of your items to those in your inventory by right clicking an item that you have and selecting Cast Glamour
The other way is to apply Glamour's at the slot level. To do this, you will have to go to an Inn.
Inns:
There is an Inn in each Major city. You can ask the inn keeper 'Retire to your room" where who can do a few things but we want to focus on the Glamour Dress and the Armoire.
To Access the Inn room you will have to have done a Level 9 MSQ quest, which by the time you have access to the Glamour quests you really should already done. Just in case though, link is in the description for that quest as well.

At your Glamour dresser you can put items in it at the cost of one glamour prisms. What is cool about this is that you can store 400 items. Now when you put an item in your dresser you can't actually use it anymore but you can "restore" the item if you ever want to re-equip it.
Once they are in your dresser you can make templates of glamour combinations that you would want to use. A quick note is that your character and current class effect what you can wear. For example White Mages can not have Paladin Glamour's.

Get rid of Glamour you have to have Glamour Dispellers. Right click the item and click "cast glamour". Then in the right panel choose the "remove" option. This will use 1 of your Glamour Dispellers in your inventory.
To dye gear, is to right click the piece you want to dye and click dye. The actual dyes have to be in you inventory. What cools is that in this screen you can view all of the dyes, even the ones you don't have and preview all the colors.
