I wouldn't focus too hard on the pen you choose, any pen will do, it's just easier with some than others (as you can see in the video).
Please note, I'm not very good at pen spinning. That's why this should be a good place for most people to learn. Most of videos and tutorials online are are pen spinning experts, not beginners who still spent time thinking through the basic concepts.
