7-Eleven fidget spinner review (yes that 7-11 sells a spinner!)
This is a review of the plastic tri-spinner sold at my local 7-Eleven store. It costs me $11, but it's just about the same spinner as the Spintech Omega that sells for under $3 ( http://amzn.to/2onzwJJ ) or $9 with fast shipping ( http://amzn.to/2onmlZk ).
This hand spinner was right at the counter of my local 7-Eleven store. It was available in a variety of different colors, but this was the only style in the store. It seems like (based on YT viewing) other regions and other 7-11 stores sell slightly different spinners, but the difference seems mainly focused on the packaging, as they are all plastic tri-spinners like this one.
When I got the spinner the finger buttons were not seated properly so it had a loud, uneven spin. After removing them and pressing them back in shape, the hand spinner was just as smooth as my Tom's Omega/Spintech, as you can see in the video. The 7-11 version uses a stainless steel 7 ball bearing instead of a hybrid ceramic, but the two spinners feel pretty similar.
So, yeah, you can get a hand spinner at 7-11 now.
