2another haphazardly engineered video how-to for opening an optical drive and cleaning the laser. :) laser cleaning is essential if your drive is having difficulty reading discs such as I did with real CD-ROMs, CD-Rs worked better. the good news is the Plextor 12/20 PleX SCSI CD-ROM is working great again and I can continue my Micron Vetix conquest.
