after a SSD and 16 GB RAM upgrade I had to install macOS and Windows 10 from the ground up in Internet Recovery. the array of complications and trouble I experienced throughout this process cannot be understated. I finally got the magic potion right after a week of torture and decided I needed to share it in its unedited form from start to finish. on unsupported Mac devices *you need to install Windows 10 via DL DVD (not USB!)*

-if NVRAM corrupts (progress bar stops on boot) hold Command+Option+P+R on power up and release when Mac restarts
