hard to believe it's been over 30 years since I first saw Virtua Fighter 2 and was mesmerized by the graphical upgrades it had over the previous game notably with more polygons and texture mapping. what also stuck out to me though was the music, this is a project I've also wanted to do for a very long time. fun trivia, Sega sold over 40,000 arcade units and the Saturn port is the highest selling game on the platform at over 2.2 million units sold. while not regarded as highly in contemporary times as Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, or Tekken it's undeniable what Virtua Fighter meant back in the day.
