This time track my progress using Hotaru. SNK sprites have more detail whilst CVS sprites has less. The challenge here is managing the detail of the sprite. One wrong color placement could potentially ruin the entire set. As you see here, I use the smallest pencil to stencil in small intricate details. I always advise to keep a consistent pace & not be held up by errors.
At the end I return to do the final pixel touch ups. I intentionally touch things up this way knowing that I will pair with light scan-lines to create the beautiful images you see upon completion
