How I TRIPLED my Money with Wii & Wii U Trade-Ins at GameStop!

Back in 2006, when Sony revealed the PlayStation 3 price, everybody had a conniption fit. A $600 home console? That's ridiculous! And no pack-in games either? How could they? 14-short years later and the new generation of systems, the PS5 and Xbox Series X are both flirting with that $600 price point. $100 under that, but still fairly close.
While I enjoy a level of financial security I did not have 14-years ago, plopping down nearly $600 on a PlayStation 5 and two games is still a hefty investment. As such, anything I can do to reduce my cost will definitely be appreciated. In the past, I would trade in a previous generation system and games towards the next generation, again to reduce cost. I don't like doing that anymore, but there are still ways that I can game hunt for deals that will help me in my endeavor.
I've been watching Retro Rick's Channel lately, and he started his Games collection on a $10 investment. He buys and flips and buys and flips and buys and flips, almost like the "Double Your Dribble" challenge from 8-bit Brody. He has an incredibly impressive collection, and he does not put any additional money into his game fund. There are games for the Wii and Wii U he has featured recently that are good trade-in values at GameStop.
Unlike Rick, I don't have the benefit of being able to head to a local Goodwill to game hunt. Our local stores send everything off to the distribution center to be sold on their website. So I've been keeping an eye on Facebook Marketplace lately, and I have scored some amazing deals, I haven't paid over $8 for any single purchase. I also had a few doubles in triples in my collection, that helps towards my personal PS5 game fund.

All of the games that you see in this video I spent a combined $28 on period one of the copies of Wii sports came with a $5 Wii that also included two Wiimotes and all the accessories and hookups. I still have that, and I plan on using that system in a future HDMI mod video. New Super Mario Bros Wii, Yoshi's woolly world, and Super Mario Bros 3D World cost me a combined $15, and traded in for much more. even though I did not make a ton on it, Super paper Mario only cost me $8 and I did make a few bucks back on it.
There are still deals to be found, and money to be made. I know GameStop is the butt of many jokes regarding low trade and values but thanks to these tips from Rick, I tripled my investment. I'm back on the hunt, I already have a line on another copy of new Super Mario Bros Wii for $8. Bring on the deals!
