In this episode of the podcast we're going to talk about emotion and intensity in RPGs and I'll give you a few examples of intense moments that have happened at our table. There are many, many more, but these are the ones that immediately come to mind, from my point of view.
Truth be told, more often than not, I am in the storyteller's chair, so my experiences are few as a player when it comes to WoD games.
Enjoy!

Readme: I got carried away and I forgot to give context or explain some terms that not everyone knows. So here goes:

The character I mention is dancing because it's one of her instruments. She is not crazy. That is her way of performing magic and awakening/restoring nature.

The Awakening, in Mage the Ascension, is when a character realizes their beliefs shape the world and they can perform magic (using instruments like dance, language, rituals and many more)

The soul eating in Demon the Fallen is something akin to Diablerie in Vampire the Masquerade. It's difficult to do and though the payoff is great, it can leave a scar on the character.

Last but not least, and I'll actually quote the wiki on this one: "How do you want to do this?" is what Matthew Mercer, the Dungeon Master of Critical Role, asks when a player strikes the killing blow in a difficult or momentous encounter. The player then has the opportunity to describe an epic (or comical) victory for Matt to narrate. The line has since become an icon and staple for the show.
As you can imagine, at least one person in our group is a fan :D (and the question is super catchy!)
