How Moana 2 was Animated | Full Shot Progression Breakdown
34This was a really fun scene to animate on Moana2. Trying to find the entertainment in a tranquilizer character and keep them feeling alive while they can’t move their body and limbs. While I was shooting refernece of myself for this I kept thinking “what if someone walks in right now? They’ll probably call 911.”
I actually did pull my neck muscles when acting out the role of Kele because I put so much effort in my expressions but they couldn’t be supported by my body like we would do in real life. It was quite a funny journey and it got a lot of laughs in the dailies room. Thanks for everyone who helped along the way. It was a blast and a unique experience.
