How practical are riot shields to carry and wield effectively?
Riot shields come in both smaller round shields and bigger tower/square shields, as well as coming in either polycarbonate or aluminium. The size and thickness effects both the shields weight and strength, bigger shields can be harder to manoeuvre and carry but they cover a larger area of the body. Larger shields are also more stable due to having more handles, and can be planted into the ground.
